From Scratch Ceramics is a blog dedicated to ceramics and baking. Two wildly different crafts, and yet somehow they are so similar. Basically I bake something new each month, and then design a unique type of pottery to go with it. The pottery is then put up on my shop to sell.

It’s time to move on! I finally have enough work finished to bisque fire on Thursday. I’m super excited to get these loaf pans fired, and test run them in the kitchen. 

This week I will be spending my mornings in the studio making small
One last pic of these beautiful things! 

I’m in the studio today trying to figure out what I should make next. I kind of feel like hand-building, maybe I should make some utensils! A few butter knifes, or a honey dipper, perhaps a ladle.🤔 Onl Officially diving into my making phase! Here is a pic of my cream & sugar sets freshly thrown as greenware.

The best part of ceramics, is that it keeps me completely occupied. I tend to like to have many stokes in the fire, that way when I tire
