Let's talk about browned butter for a second. Actually lets talk about it for a little longer, it deserves the conversation. Since I come from a Cuban, Italian household I discovered the magical properties of butter at a very young age. The more butter that is added to a dish the better the food tastes. The better the food tastes, the more you love the people eating it. This is a very dangerous cycle, that probably explains why I have always been so chubby (it's all the love). Considering my history with butter, it seems quite strange that I only recently discovered this glorious method of browning it. It's an incredibly simple process that adds such a wonderful toasty/nutty flavor. Definitely a shame to have gone so long without making it, but now I can start making up for lost time.
